There are hundreds of fishing sites out there with some good information about inshore fishing. Most sites devoted entirely to inshore fishing are inshore fishing guides advertising their services. Others are general fishing sites with a section for saltwater fishing, a smaller section for inshore fishing and an even smaller section specifically for Florida inshore fishing. Separating the wheat from the chaff is a task. This I learned first hand.
When I moved to Florida in 2004, I was new to Florida inshore fishing and had much to learn. I also needed to buy a fishing boat. I spent a lot of time online searching through the myriad of inshore fishing and boating sites and finally decided to buy a used bay boat. Then the fun really began. More searching! It was overwhelming to say the least. That's when I got the idea for this site. I knew that fishermen wanted to spend their valuable time fishing, not Googling. My idea was to design a site dedicated entirely to Florida inshore fishing. This site could act as a clearinghouse, a portal to the web as it were, cutting through the clutter of various fishing sites and bringing visitors just the up to date information they're seeking in an easy to use format. I've spent a lot of time searching for useful inshore fishing and boating info that I can now share here. I did, and still do the work of searching, so you can do what you wanna be doing... catching fish! Designing, updating and maintaining this site is no easy task, but it is a labor of love. Now of course a guy will take any help he can get (hell...I wanna fish too), so your hand in helping add to the value of this site is greatly appreciated. It may be as simple as submitting the address to a great inshore fishing or boating site that I've missed. Or perhaps you have a knack for writing and need a creative outlet. Great! I NEED YOU! Write a fishing report, a review on that new piece of gear or maybe an article on your favorite fishing technique. It's up to you. If you send it, I'll post it and give you full credit. Please look around our site, if you like what you see, add us to your favorites and tell your fellow fisher-friends. I welcome your feedback and if you have something to contribute, please, I want to hear from you. Thanks,
